Shakti Yoga Therapy Centre is offering a weekend yoga retreat to welcome in a healthy happy new 2021. Melody Hill Retreat is a 2-hectare country estate set in a secluded and peaceful pecan-nut orchard, on the banks of the Magalies River. This river-side property is situated in a valley that boasts a unique ecosystem teaming with birds and indigenous plant life. The home of Nag-apies, Porcupines, Vervet Monkeys and Hornbills. In summer the mature pecan trees create a lush green forest canopy.
Melody Hill offers a peaceful and tranquil setting for mind, body and soul integration. Total harmonious relaxation for the body, mind and spirit. The grounds and facilities include a fully equipped yoga studio, swimming pool, labyrinth, river, orchard, dam, vegetable gardens and beautiful buildings, designed and built with love and passion.
In close proximity to Johannesburg, the route from Johannesburg and Pretoria passes through the scenic landscape of the Cradle of Humankind.
Melody Hill also offers wonderful Kahuna massage treatments (60- 90 minutes) which you can schedule during your free time.

Styles of Yoga
Styles that will be taught over the three days include Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Transformational Yoga. And of course plenty of Yoga nidra to restore tired minds and bodies. Pranayama and meditation sessions will be held each morning.
