Yoga for your Endocrine System Workshop

Yoga for Your Endocrine System will take a deep dive into how the shapes we make with our body effect our mood, sleep, zest for life, immune system, and other vital hormonal fluctuations.
About this Course:
In this workshop you will experience both lecture and experiential movement. This course will focus on understanding the function and using shapes to assist with the balance of our endocrine system and glands. We will systematically be hacking into our own bodies to promote and provide better overall health for our own personal and professional practices.
This Workshop is designed for:
• Anyone interested in shifting their personal health and wellness focus to a more holistic path.
• Experienced, new and novice yoga teachers and yoga business owners hoping to integrate trauma informed and accessible yoga in studio, online and community settings.
• Health, social, service, and community professionals hoping to integrate yoga, embodied, and mindful somatic practices with a trauma informed approach into their existing practice, organizations, and work.
• Activists, humanitarians and social justice advocates hoping to add somatic awareness, embodied practices and community connection to their social justice and systemic change agendas.
Yoga Alliance CEUs are available.

Kirsten has over 20 years of working with moving bodies, trauma, and building trauma informed curriculum. She is the Executive Director of Legacy Motion, an NGO that supports individuals and communities impacted by trauma by offering sustainable programing and trainings to community members in trauma informed, restorative movement based practices and somatic therapy modalities. Each program and project honors traditional healing methods, supports the collective human experience, and provides learning opportunities to aid in accessible and equitable mental healthcare through the mind/body connection. She is also the founder of Healing Motion, a private practice that offers somatic therapy coaching and embodied practices that support mental health by assisting individuals in discovering their innate wisdom, restoring their embodied strength, and transcending to holistic wellbeing through nervous system self-regulation, lifestyle balance, and personalized wellness programs.
